I’ve never been comfortable with Botox. The idea of taking a toxic poison and injecting it into your face so your blind date doesn’t see your laugh lines seems a little over the top to me. Thankfully there may be a new alternative. Researchers in Germany think they’ve discovered a way of relaxing wrinkles using LEDs!
The small lights are used in countless products these days, including TV remotes, traffic lights, and as significantly green home lighting. It may well be able to add wrinkle remover to its repertoire. Visible light has been used to help speedy recovery for decades, but no one was ever sure why it worked. Now researchers believe they’ve discovered how it works, saying that high intensity light can change the molecular structure of the protein that provides elasticity to skin. If their ideas are correct, it could lead to new deep rejuvenation products that won’t require a physician at your next party.
