You may remember awhile back when I wrote about how nobody’s perfect.  Well the theme continues, as AppleInsider lets us know of two new trojan viruses making their way to Macs around the world.

Thankfully, the trojans are being spread via pirated software, so all of our law-abiding readers need not worry too much.  But, if you happen to be a one-legged bootlegger, then beware!  It would appear that illegal copies of iWork ‘09 and Adobe Photoshop CS4 are coming with unexpected extras.  While they’re different trojans for each piece of software, the end result is very much the same – your computer can be accessed remotely and be used for such malicious acts as DDoS attacks.

Should you find yourself in the embarassing position of having a virus on a Mac, or decide that protecting yourself is a good idea (it is), then you may want to check out Intego’s Virusbarrier X5, which is quite capable of handling these latest threats to your overpriced computer.
