w00t! A Verizon Netbook for as little as $960*
Online Shopping, PCs, Rumors, The Internet — By kurteng on May 14, 2009 at 10:43 amIn typical w00t-off fashion, Andy has the day off.
But in other news, Verizon will release their new HP Mini 1151NR netbook with built-in 3G access on Monday, May 17th (the rumor anyways). While it has the built in 3G connectivity, be expected to pay up! The netbook is $199 after $50 MIR with data plans ranging from 250MB/$40/month to 5GB/$60/month for a 2 year contract. But wait! Verizon will even throw in global internet access through this netbook for a charge of $130/month/100MB(global or 5GB US/Canada). Ouch! You could be spending up to $1440 over 2 years* for this semi-decent netbook…
