Is social media worth it? #pcb4

Forget ROI… its about “me and my product”. Engagement measures dont work either… return on assets is the way to go.
difference between marketing ROI and ROI
If you commit to long-term social media, it is a long-term engagement without a timeline with your customers. You might not be able to generate attributable revenue. But you need to know what your income source is and how to regenerate it if you receive capital.
Finite number of resources. but social media does a lot of good things: good brand value in recognition and face time. Valuation of social media advertisement and publicity is more than what people really think its worth. Supporting your brand and image is most important for a company.
Customer list: social media allows you to engage easier and cheaply too. Engaged clients is worth more than an email list (1000 of engaged is better than 10k on an email list). Need a better conversion rate.
How do you determine “brand value?” Right now… or projection over time?
Should you generate more revenue? Or generate more assets?
