Apple Gets Rid of Google Maps for Their Own Map Company

You heard it right! Apple bought Placebase which is a map company but has now been replaced by PushPin. If anything, Apple will use this new map aquisition to move the iPhone into a new mapping direction outside of Google. Google already uses their map system for the “Maps” application...
